Claw & Kin began in 2023 with the arrival of our very first Cocker Spaniel — Lady, from the incredible Chavez Kennel. She was everything we could have wished for: sweet, soulful, and wrapped in the most perfect orange coat — a colour I had dreamed of having for years. We were unbelievably lucky to find her, and from that moment on, our whole family was hooked.

Since then, our spaniel journey has grown. We welcomed a beautiful Blue Roan and Tan girl into our home, and then came Nelly — our beloved Orange and White. Nelly was the first puppy we bred and chose to keep. She’s more than just a dog — she’s family. Raising her from birth made us realise we could never buy a dog again — there’s something deeply special about raising your own from the very beginning.

In 2024, we officially registered our kennel name Almclaw, a proud nod to our family’s roots and the dogs that started it all. It’s a name we’ll carry forward with pride and care.

We simply love Cocker Spaniels. Their kind nature, joyful spirit, and loyal hearts are unlike anything else. We hope to share that joy by raising spaniels with the best possible start in life — well-socialised, confident, and nurtured from day one in a family home filled with children, cuddles, and muddy adventures.

We also believe in total transparency. Welcoming a companion into your home is a huge decision, and we want you to feel completely confident every step of the way. That’s why we offer a live stream, so you can watch your puppy grow, see how they’re raised, and get to know us and your future pup long before collection day. You’ll witness every moment — from their first wobbly steps to their playful chaos — so that when the time comes, you’ll already feel like family.

For us, temperament always comes first. The time we spend with our puppies while they’re still with us shapes them for the future — and we put our hearts into every moment of that journey.
